Trauma Therapy

One of my areas of focus is trauma therapy. If you have experienced a traumatic event you may experience depression, anxiety, and have difficulty with forming relationships or maintaining them in a way that is is helpful for you. This can make connecting with a therapist challenging. If you would like more information about the pacing of trauma therapy or counseling in general contact me.

Working with Adolescents and their Families

Although I work with individuals of all ages, another area of specialization I have is working with children and adolescents. With experience a special educator and family therapist, I am dedicated to helping children during difficult transitions of their life gain the skills they need to be successful. Additionally, I feel parents are an intrical part of the therapeutic process and try to incorporate them in sessions when it is applicable.
